| Why did you choose your name and number? | | The girls from my fresh meat group named me, well cat started it and they all liked it so i went with it. Now alot of people have their own opinion as to WHY they call me Barbie, myself cuz i just don't grasp things to fast ;-) and the mauler ....well its derby! and lets seee the number..... well DD, barbie has big tatas and so do I lol but the 40 is more aimed towards my age .I started as marina del slayer # 18 ( number is my favorite,my bday my sons bday my best friends bday etc) but it was to close to another derby girls name . I liked Mama Mayhem #6 (# for all my kids) cuz im like a mom to everyone and am old enough to almost be everyones Mama>>but the girls wouldn't have it and barbie stuck with me!

| What do you do when you're not skating? | | I'am a Mom to 6 plus kids ranging in age from 34 down that pretty much covers it ..:) no and ! i do yoga i ride horses with my girls |
| Any injuries? | | LOL hmmm well none so bad yet...elbow pretty jacked up, wrist a bit messed up and now my stupid Knee and leg.... but hangin tough! No real injuries just alot of bruise bumps scars and scrapes... ya know derby wear and tear !!!

| Tell us about your gear! | | Thats a good one ! I have Tiggz first skates good old Riddel ?? i dont even know the name with original trucks but ive been thru some wheels and right now I'm on Heartless Neon Green and Hot Pink 92 and 94 I think. Of course my 187 knee pads, Triple eight wrist and elbow pads and a HOT Pink triple eight helmet with the sweat guard inside that i had to beg and plead with triple eight to make it for me,with the help of the guys from Valley skate and Surf! and they came thru and now they marketed it and sell it to the public! Now im looking to get new boots and plates and wheels just unsure as to which i want. i have alot of feed back from alot of different people just not sure what "I" want butttt gotta have pink wheels( just kiddin) i really like the Hot pink mojo94s though, i think thats what they are, and swiss bone bearings.i'm jut not sure about which wheels for performance and i really want something good for me.

| Who is your derby wife and why? | | My OG derby Wife was/is kitten Tarentino we did fresh meat together and everyone was sitting around after practice in el segundo and she said she didn't a wife and i said would you like to be my wife :) and then we played it from there but she moved away and then Cat asked me to be her wife and her and i had this bond already outside of derby and so he became my other wifey! She is also Gia s wife ! butttt kitten is home and sooo im now a paligomist lol love em BOTH!!! Truly i do!! |
